One person. Every project. Personally.
I’m Paco — the person behind Web Pro Chicago. I’m a freelance web designer and developer based in Belmont Cragin, working with small businesses across Chicago and Illinois. There’s no team page here because there’s no team: when you hire me, you get me. The person who answers the phone is the person who designs your homepage, writes your code, and sets up your Google Business Profile.
I started this business after watching too many Chicago business owners get burned by big agencies — sold by a smooth talker, handed off to a junior, billed for things they never approved, and left with a website they didn’t even own. I knew there was a better way: show up in person, tell the truth about timelines and prices, and build things people actually own.
My philosophy is simple. First, meet face-to-face — a website is too important to trust to someone who’s never seen your business. Second, speak plainly — if an idea won’t work or a cost isn’t worth it, you’ll hear it from me before you spend a dollar. Third, you own everything — your domain, your files, your content, your logins, from day one.
Being bilingual isn’t a marketing line for me — it’s how I work. Much of Chicago’s business community operates in Spanish, and I’m proud to offer the full process en español: consultations, proposals, websites, and reporting. Some of my favorite projects are the bilingual sites that help family businesses reach every customer they have, not just the English-speaking ones.
When I’m not building websites, I’m in the same neighborhoods you are — eating at the restaurants, hiring the contractors, and shopping at the stores I build for. That’s the point of all this: when your business wins, my neighborhood wins.
How I work
Face-to-face first
Every project starts with an in-person meeting. I’ve never designed a great website for a business I didn’t understand, and understanding happens across a table.
Radical transparency
Fixed quotes in writing, honest timelines, and monthly reports in plain language. If I wouldn’t sign it, I won’t ask you to.
You own everything
Domain, hosting, files, content — all registered in your name from day one. My business grows by referrals, not by holding clients hostage.
